It’s Health & Safety Gone Mad

Some people say that riding a brakeless, 4m tall bike, in a crowd, along busy streets, amongst other motorised traffic isn’t the sort of thing we should be encouraging. What’s worse, there’s no helmet and no hi-viz. This is an accident waiting to happen!

Well I say to these Health And Safety Pen Pushers that they need to lighten up and take a more common-sense approach to the whole thing. Besides, I’m sure there would have been a full risk assessment carried out for this ride.

I don’t think they make brake cables that long anyway and a helmet would be pointless in a fall from that height. I figure nobody died so it’s all good.

Oh God, I can’t even watch this! I’m getting naseous just watching the first few seconds! This is the stuff of nightmares! (well, it is if you’re afraid of heights, like me)
