Sense of Proportion

My back is still really sore. But I walked away from the crash.

It could have been much worse. And at least I’m starting to get my sense of humour back.

The bike is booked in to have the top tube replaced & frame straightened some time toward the end of September. In the meantime, I’m riding it & listening out for the pinging sound that could hint at a total failure.

  1. Good for you, and you are right about perspective. When I make a mistake in carpentry I sometimes remind myself that it is only wood: I’ve still got all my fingers.
